Gloria C. Okpah, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Baylor Scott & White Primary Care in Forney, Texas. She provides comprehensive primary care for adolescents, adults and older ... adults, with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management and building lasting relationships with her patients. Dr. Okpah has special interests in preventive care, women's health, adolescent and young adult medicine, geriatric care, and the treatment of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She is experienced in a variety of office-based procedures, including joint injections, skin biopsies, Pap smears, Nexplanon placement and contraceptive care. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes education, prevention and personalized treatment plans that help patients achieve their long-term health goals. Dr. Okpah earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency training at Bayhealth Family Medicine Residency in Dover, Delaware. She is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Originally from Nigeria, Dr. Okpah enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading fiction and African literature, and exploring new restaurants.
