Dr. Heffernan serves as the Baylor Scott & White North Texas regional medical director for geriatrics and is the medical director of the Baylor Scott & White HouseCalls program. She ... is board-certified in family, geriatric, and hospice and palliative medicine specialties. Dr. Heffernan specializes in the care of older adults and provides quality, comprehensive healthcare. Her goal is to ensure that her patients maintain quality of life and avoid visits to the emergency room or hospital.


In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Heffernan teaches residents from the Baylor Scott & White Family Medicine Residency Program. She is married to a physician, and they have one child. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and riding horses.
