No matter how your family is growing—whether through birth or adoption—we want to support you through the process. Take a look at the programs and resources available to help you care for your family.

The basics

We know this is an exciting and busy time in your life. And we want to make it easy to understand everything you need to do to prepare for your new addition. Once your child arrives, you’ll have 31 days to update your benefits as needed to ensure your new family member is fully covered.

Preparing for your new child

Enroll your new child

You have 31 days from a qualifying event—like date of birth or date of adoption—to add a dependent to your benefits by submitting a life event in PeoplePlace (log in required).
